Your privacy is very important to YogiTunes. We’ve put together this Privacy Policy to explain how we collect, use, disclose and store your information. Whilst we take our responsibilities in relation to your privacy very seriously you are reminded that transmission of data via the internet is never completely secure and is made at your own risk.

Introduction

This Privacy Policy applies to your use of the yogitunes.com website (the “Site”) and tells you how YogiTunes Inc uses and protects the information that it collects. Personal information is data that can be used to identify or contact a single person. This Privacy Policy forms part of the Terms and Conditions (the “Agreement”) between users of the Site and YogiTunes. YogiTunes may change its Privacy Policy from time to time, and in its sole discretion. We therefore encourages visitors to frequently check this page for any changes as your continued use of this site after any change in this Privacy Policy will constitute your acceptance of such change.

Non-Personally-Identifying information

Like most website operators, YogiTunes collects and stores non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. Our purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to operate the Site, support your interaction with us and to better understand how you use the Site and thereby improve the products, services and content offered (together the “Content”). From time to time, YogiTunes may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate into the public domain, e.g., by publishing a report on generic website usage trends .

YogiTunes also collects and stores potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (“IP”) addresses. YogiTunes does not use such information to identify its visitors and does not disclose such information, other than under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information, as described below. 

Gathering and Retention of Personally-Identifying Information

Certain visitors to the Site choose to interact with the Site in ways that require YogiTunes to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that we gather depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, YogiTunes asks visitors who use the “My Tracks” feature to provide a username and email address. In each case, YogiTunes only collects such information as it deems to be necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor’s interaction. YogiTunes does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below.

In all instances, personally-identifying information is provided at the visitor’s sole discretion. You can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that such refusal may prevent you from engaging in certain activities via the Site. If you are a registered user of the Site and have supplied your email address, we may occasionally send you an email to tell you about new features, solicit your feedback on products and services and keep you up to date with what’s going on with the Site and our products and partners. We primarily use our blog to communicate this type of information, so we expect to keep this type of email to a minimum. As part of the registration process you have agreed to receive communications from us via email. If you do not wish to be contacted by YogiTunes in this manner, please contact us and let us know, although we will always need to have a means to get in touch with you electronically about specific matters relating to your account.

If you send us a request (for example via a support email or via one of our feedback mechanisms), we reserve the right to publish it in order to help us clarify or respond to your request or to help us support other users.

You are entitled to access information that is held about you by YogiTunes. Should you need or wish to do so, please submit a written request to us via our contact page.

YogiTunes is committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of your personal information and implements measures and controls to protect against the unauthorized access, use, alteration, or destruction of potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information. Unfortunately, transmission of data via the internet is not completely secure and as such we are unable to fully guarantee the security of information transmitted to or via the Site.
